How many people can attend this event?
Our events typically feed as few as 20 on up to 200 guests. For larger groups, we are happy to work with you to meet your needs.

Does this have to take place outside, or can it be done inside?
This depends on where the event is held. The actual cooking should be done outside as we use Butane gas to heat the water. The actual serving can be done anywhere there is a large enough table.

How spicy hot is the food?
This event normally serves the food in a not too hot/spicy way. This of course can be adjusted to the crowd preference.

Do we sit down and eat or do we stand up and eat?
The food is served on a long table, so you can do either one you choose. Most people serve themselves on a plate and go sit somewhere, coming back for more when they finish their first helping.

How many different things are in the pot?
Normally there are between 13-16 different items in the pot, as we want to make sure there is something yummy for everyone, no matter what you eat or don’t eat.

What do we have to supply in terms of food?
We supply all the food because it has to be very specifically selected. You just need to supply water for the pot.

Can we also get appetizers before the main event is served?
Yes, we offer some unusually good smoked foods. Some exmaples are on-site freshly smoked Salmon, smoked pork tenderloins with a special sauce, and if I can get my wife to fix her now famous “Louisiana Jambalaya” we can have that as well.

Is there any nutritional value?
Without question, there is. The food not only tastes great, but it’s healthy also.  We are trying to get certified by hospitals that this type of eating will make you live longer, as it is filled with stuff that has great nutritional value.
